The seminar will present the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence, by overviewing a few relevant steps in the history of the discipline and by discussing the most exciting novel challenges that have to be addressed in the future. Special care will be devoted to discussing Deep Learning techniques, with their opportunities and pitfalls.
